every article on this site follows three rules:
- hands-on testing. I only review tools I have actually used. no rewrites of press releases, no AI-generated fluff, no coverage of tools I have never touched.
- honest assessments. if a tool is overhyped, I will say so. if a free tool beats a paid one, you will hear that too. affiliate commissions never influence my recommendations.
- quarterly updates. tools change fast. pricing shifts, features get added, products shut down. I revisit articles regularly to keep them current.
